Dorothy L. Bennett

Dorothy L. Bennett, age 95 of West Carrollton, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025. She was born December 22, 1929 in Etrick, VA the daughter of the late Columbus Jordan and Mable (Swann) Hill. Dorothy attended Olivet Nazarene College where she met her husband, Carroll L. Bennett. She was an active member of West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene where she served others in the "Dare to Care" program making blankets, sending encouraging cards, and visiting the sick. Dorothy was a Prayer Warrior and loved her family, church, and friends to the fullest. She remembered every birthday and would always send a card with a $5 bill. Dorothy entertained a lot with her friends and family by hosting parties and gatherings. She was fiercely proud of her family and mentioned them often and fondly. Dorothy will be deeply missed.

Dorothy is survived by her Daughters, Nancy Cloud of Miamisburg, and Joyce Thompson of Huber Heights; Grandchildren, Jeffrey Cloud of Atlanta, GA, Tara Woolley, of Carlsbad, CA;, Angie Sheahan of Ephrata, PA, Julie Hager of Vandalia, OH, Lance Thompson of Cincinnati, OH; Great-Grandchildren, Kyan Woolley, Chase Woolley, Eliana Woolley, Micaiah Sheahan, Benjamin Sheahan, Noah Thompson (Navy, stationed in San Diego), Madilynn Hager, Sophia Horn, and Grayson Horn; and by numerous other Family and Friends.

She is preceded in death by her Husband of 64 years, Carroll L. Bennett, and her Parents.
