Dorothea Bankston Stone, lovingly known as "50", age 60, of Dayton, passed away on September 19, 2023.
She worked as a nurse's aid for many years. She was kind-hearted and enjoyed taking care of people. The only daughter out of 8 children, she was strong-willed and a force of nature. She was also a daddy's girl. Her bright and caring spirit shone, and she will be dearly missed.
Dorothea was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Clyde Bankston Sr.; and her brothers: Walter Bankston, Clyde Bankston and Donald Bankston.
Her memory will be cherished by her daughters, Laquina Davis and Danielle Stone; brothers, Frank Bankston, Tyrone Bankston, David (Loretta) Bankston, "M&M", and Ronald Bankston; her sister-in-law, Linda Bankston; grandchildren: Avery Davis Jr. age 12, Aubrey Davis age 11, Aiden Davis age 10 and Ava Davis age 10; special friend and god-sister Rhonda Ivory; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A viewing will be held from 10:30am to 12:00pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road in Dayton, Ohio.
