Dorotha I. Clark

Dorotha I. Clark, age 68 of Kettering, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. She was born September 1, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to Charles and Florence (Kinnamon) Reck. Dorotha married Ronald Clark Sr. on June 1, 1968 in Dayton, OH.

Dorotha attended Cleveland Elementary and Belmont High School, where she met her husband Ron. She went to cosmetology school and was a Certified Nail Tech. Her and Ron began their own cleaning business, D & R Maintenance in 1973, serving many businesses in the Miami Valley area. Dorotha loved the beach, vacationing annually at Myrtle Beach, and also loved vacationing at Disney World with family and friends. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandkids, great grandson and friends. Dorotha was very kind hearted and forgiving, never met a stranger and loved her animals, especially her dogs and horses. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Dorotha is survived by her three sons, Ronald H. Clark, Jr., Eric (Tina) Clark and Chris Clark; five grandchildren, Tyler (Shannon), Kyle and Dylan Clark and Alex and Ella Clark; one great grandchild, Aiden Clark; two sisters, Sylvia (Don) Walker and Ginger (Mike) Hogan; a sister in law, Sarah "Marti" Tye; and other numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Ronald; and a brother, Kenneth Reck, Jr.

A visitation and a celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
