Doris Jean (Weekley) Stork

February 8, 1936 - July 26, 2026

Jean was loyal and dedicated to everyone she loved.

Her husband, Richard A. Stork, preceded her in death in1991. They were married in1979 and had those loving years together.

She was devoted step-mother to Stephen (deceased) (Susan) Stork, Deborah (Marlin) Stork-Knock and Kathleen (Jay) Sims. She was a proud Grandma to her six grandchildren. Amy (Tyler) Anderson, John (Emily) Stork, Kelly (Matthew) Meyers, Sean (Mariela) Knock, Jeffrey Knock and Samantha (Jonathan) Sween. She also enjoyed her 12 Great Grandchildren.

Jean was one of six children born to Douglas (Stella) Weekley. Left to remember her are Douglas Weekley Jr. (Rose), Janet Simpkins and Donald Weekley. Preceding her in death are David Weekley and JoAnne Silvernell. Jean is survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members. One niece was especially dear to her heart, Angie Baker and her son Chase.

After Jean graduated from Germantown High School she continued her studies at Sinclair Community College. She became office manager for Federal Flooring where she retired in 1993.

Jean was a member of Normandy Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers. She especially valued the friendships of her neighbors that helped her and then sat and chatted with her on her back porch.
