Dorenda Denise Seifert

Dorenda Denise Seifert, age 47 of Dayton, passed away with her loving family by her side on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 12, 1969 in Dayton, Ohio to Charles and Donna (Evans) Scott. Dorenda married Matthew Seifert on September 1, 2001 in Centerville, OH.

Dorenda loved her dog Foxy, hummingbirds and all animals. She had a love of country music, especially Reba McIntire and Carrie Underwood, loved to crochet and adult coloring books. She loved garage sales and Goodwill stores and loved helping people. Her favorite foods were steak and crab legs and had a thirst for sweet tea and Starbucks. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Dorenda is survived by her husband Matthew; two sons Ryan M. Mowell and Kyle J. Seifert; a daughter Virginia R. (John Linardos) Seifert; a grandchild Karsyn J. Linardos and one grandbaby on the way; one brother Todd (Catherine) Scott; two sisters Gina Griffin and Dana (Tony) Butler; nephews Nicholas and Jake; nieces Morgan and Stephanie (Jessica); and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother Lucy; her Uncle Eddie; and her canine companions Floyd, Pickles, Twiggy, Sparky, Harvey and ISIS (her Siberian Husky).

A Memorial Service will be held on May 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory- Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. A gathering of family and friends will be from 9:30 am-11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, Beavercreek. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Dorenda's name to SICSA, 2600 Wilmington Pike, Kettering, OH 45419 or Hospice of Dayton/Ohio Hospice, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420.
