Donna Lee Urban Walusis

Donna Lee Urban Walusis, a woman of profound warmth, boundless generosity, and unwavering dedication to others, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, at the age of 83. Known for her giving nature, Donna was considered a friend to everyone she met.

A proud 1961 graduate of Kiser High School in Old North Dayton, Donna channeled her natural compassion into a meaningful career as a mental health therapist for Samaritan Health in Dayton, touching countless lives. Her deep faith guided her through many years as an active, long-time member of both Precious Blood Parish in Trotwood and Incarnation Parish in Centerville.

Donna's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, John Walusis; her three sons, Brian (Diana), Eric (Maria), and John (Francoise); and a beautiful legacy of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Louis P. Urban; her sisters, Paula Stapp, Lillian Brelsford, Linda Linebaugh, and Louise Ewick; her brothers, Frank Urban and Stanley Urban; her granddaughter, Madeline Walusis; her parents-in-law, Casimer and Ruth Walusis; and brothers-in-law, Michael and Joseph Walusis. She will be dearly missed by her vast circle of lifelong friends and former colleagues.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 10:30AM at Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Ln, Dayton, OH 45459. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
