Donna Ruth Serio

Donna Ruth Serio, age 90, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away from cancer at her home on Saturday, June 9, 2018. She attended the First Baptist Church of Bellbrook.
Donna grew up in Millington, TN and attended/graduated from Memphis State. She taught school there, met & married Capt. Vincent Serio, Veteran of 3 wars, with 27 yrs of military service. After retiring from WPAFB, they lived in Fairborn, OH and she taught at Mad River schools for 25 yrs.
She's preceded in death by her husband, Vincent and her parents, Howard & Jo Chambers.
She leaves behind her children, Stephen Serio, of Centerville and Mindy (John) Herd, of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Mandy (Chris) Hutchinson, Nathan (Liza) Herd, and Joey Herd; great-grandchildren, Sam, Maddy, and Jack.
Memorial Service will be at the First Baptist Church of Bellbrook on July 1, 2018 at 6pm. Donna will be laid to rest with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington D.C.
