Donna Rose Fugett

Donna Rose Fugett, age 93, of Fairborn, passed away on September 12, 2026. Born in Fairborn, Ohio, on September 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rose Dersch.

For 20 years, Donna dedicated her career to nurturing children as the Director of Kinderhaus Day Care. Her commitment extended into her community involvement as a long-time member of the Child Conservation League.

Donna found joy in reading, cultivating her flower gardens, and solving crossword puzzles. She was known for her love of animals, constant smile, and her ever-present positive outlook. Her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She adored her family and was a doting grandmother.

Donna was preceded in death by her loving parents and her devoted husband of 53 years, Denzil C. "Dennie" Fugett. She leaves behind her daughters, Dana Benkovic, Danice Stacy, and Debra Finley; grandsons, Jason (Lindsey) Stacy and Michael (Lindsay) Stacy; great-granddaughters, Brynn and Emma; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will take place from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel, 8200 W. National Rd., New Carlisle, Ohio, followed by Funeral Services at 12:30 pm.

Donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
