Donna Bentrup

Donna Sue Bentrup, age 67 of Riverside, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026. She was born December 21, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio. The daughter of the late Jimmy and Frances (Jones) Williams.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by the loving father of her children, Karl Bentrup; sister, Penny Williams; granddaughter, Willow Duncan.

She is survived by her daughters, Karla (Joey) Bentrup and Krista (Ross) Duncan; grandchildren, Kendra (Autumn), Karson, Poet, Wyatt, Odin, River, Ozzy, Kaylah (Enhyeb), and Nevaeh (Alex); brother, James (Lacey) Williams; nephew, Austin (Chelsea) Williams; nieces, Megan (Andrew) Granato and Bre Garrett; great niece and nephews, Oakley, Owen, and Elijah; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Donna was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed bowling, softball, summers at Cherokee Lake, and going camping. Her pride and joy was her daughters and spending time with her family. Donna was a free-spirited soul who never knew a stranger. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and turning strangers into friends. She was always up for an adventure without a plan or road trip. She brought so much joy and life into every room she entered. She will be remembered for her big heart and the love she gave so freely to her friends and family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 2-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A memorial service will begin at 4pm also at the Funeral Home.
