Donald Lee Ramby

Donald "Don" Ramby, age 82, passed away May 13, 2018 at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Donald was born October 23, 1935 to Samuel E. Ramby and Idaline Weeks Ramby in Dayton, Ohio. Donald was a former member of the United States Marine Corps and was a retired Machine Operator. Donald was also the Sunday School Director of Meadowbrook Baptist Church.

Donald is survived by his wife, Wanda "Faye" Ramby of Byhalia, MS; three sons: Steve (Cathy) Ramby of West Carrollton, OH, Chris (Teressa) Ramby of South Carolina, and Jeff (Sylvia) Ramby of Florida; daughter, Katherine Bayes-Brant of Dayton, OH; grandchildren: Chelsea Brant, Nikki (Travis) Brant, Holly Ramby, Emily Morris, Taylor Brooke Ramby, Jessica Schulting, Adam (Amanda) Schulting, Stephen Ramby, Isaiah Cole Ramby; great-grandchildren: Alyicia, Savanna, Riley, and Katherine.

Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Idaline Weeks Ramby; father, Samuel Ramby, and brother, Earl Ramby.

Services will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Visitation will start at 12:00 pm with funeral at 1:00 pm. Burial and Military Honors to follow at Dayton Memorial Park. To send a special message to the family, please click on Share Memories.
