Donald E. Linkous, 1st Sgt. USMCR (Ret), passed away on November 15, 2018. Don was a native of Bluefield, WVA but an Ohio resident for over 75 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired as a manager after 30 years' service with AT&T. Don is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Bernie; his beloved daughters, Debbie (Steve) Paschal of Tucson, AZ and Melissa (Rick) Bergman of New Vienna, OH. He loved and was proud of his 7 grandchildren, Sarah (Jason) Sharp, Mollie (Tim) Gershikov, Emily (Bryan) Nelson, Nathanael (Casey) Bergman, Matthew Paschal, Abigail (Tyler) Wilkerson and Anna Paschal as well as his precious 15 great-grandchildren, Brody, Brenna, Bryton, Deryl, Chandler, Elijah, Chloe, Claire, Adeline, Benjamin, Samuel, Matthew, Shively, Nora and Lucille; along with many other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Newcomer South Dayton Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd on Sunday, December 9th from 1-3 p.m. A graveside service and inurnment will be held at David's Cemetery on Monday, December 10th at 11 a.m.
