Donald R Evans, age 87 of Kettering, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born January 24, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Warren and Lila Evans.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Evans, sister, Betty Shakro, brother-in-law, Paul Shakro and best friend, Joseph L. McGatha.
Donald was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving in Korea. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Uncle Don is survived by his nephews, Paul (Lisa) Shakro, Michael (Glenna) Shakro; friend Loretta McGatha and family.
He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at June 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
