Dolores J. Reith

Dolores "Dee" Jean Reith, age 83, of Kettering passed away on March 15, 2024. She was born in Rock Valley, Iowa on January 6, 1941 to the late Gerrit and Alice Vugteveen.

Dee is survived by her children, Todd (Angela) Reith, Lisa Reith, Michelle Reith; brother, James (Betty) Vugteveen and 6 fur grandbabies.

Dee had multiple careers, including cosmetology, catering, a food buyer, seamstress and an office manager. She truly enjoyed cooking, creating recipes, menus and entertaining friends and family. Dee competed in several cooking contests and was recognized by the magazine, Bon Appetite. She adored all things Elvis and is chasing him around in heaven as we speak. Dee will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who knew her.

A gathering with family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Joe Getts to officiate.
