Dolly P. Warren, a cherished soul whose quiet strength and generous spirit touched all who knew her, passed away on June 17, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on November 9, 1964, in Harveysburg, Ohio, Dolly's life was marked by a deep commitment to family, a passionate love for her varied interests, and a career defined by dedication and care.
Dolly’s professional journey was as inspiring as her personal one. She devoted many years to serving others through her work at Bank One and Grace Works, eventually retiring from Care Source. Her career was characterized by unwavering positivity and an enduring desire to give back to her community—a reflection of the huge heart that defined her.
Her academic achievements were a source of pride, having graduated from Clinton Massie High School and later earning a Master's Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Education was a cornerstone in her life, echoing the same dedication she carried into every endeavor.
Those who knew Dolly well would describe her as both quiet and outgoing, a beautiful blend of thoughtfulness and warmth. She had a positive outlook that lifted those around her. Her hobbies reflected a rich tapestry of creativity and patience—gardening, knitting, sewing, and puzzles brought her joy and peace, as did her affection for animals. An avid coin collector and skilled woodcarver, Dolly expressed her artistry and attention to detail in many ways, leaving behind a legacy woven with love and craftsmanship.
Dolly’s family was her sanctuary and her greatest joy. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Aryana McBounds (Germaine); her step-children, LaShawnna Keeney and Tamika Warren; as well as her grandchildren Jaevon Wells, Azuri Jackson, and Zariah Jackson. The light of her life extended to her great-grandchildren: Jamar Warren Jr, Noelle Wells, Jaevon Wells Jr. and Amira Wells, along with a host of other great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family members, and dear friends who will carry her spirit forward with reverence and affection.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Chester and Janie Sanders; her husband, Kenneth Warren; and her grandson, Jamar Warren. Their memories remain etched in the hearts of those who loved her, forever entwined with Dolly’s own story.
