Dolly Frances Erwin

Dolly F. Erwin, 57, of Pineville, KY, passed away Monday, December 2nd, 2024. Dolly, the daughter of John Coile and Orena Gibson, was born on February 21st, 1967. She was preceded in death by her mother, Orena Gibson, her two nieces Shannon and Lisa, and brother-in-law Craig. She is survived by her children Amber (Tyler) Milby, Rickey Erwin, Josh (Leanne) Erwin; her grandchildren Arianna Spencer, Austin Spencer, Elijah Spencer, Layla Cottrell, Harper Cottrell, Emory Cottrell, Brinley Erwin, and Makenna Erwin; and her significant other, Grover Treadwell. She is also survived by her siblings Drena (Mark) Monesmith, Gloria Henry, Juanita (Charley) Besore, Janice Shepherd, Johnny (Betsy) Coile, Wayne Coile, and Randall (Jenni) Coile. Additionally, she is survived by countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends. 

While she loved many, Dolly had an overwhelming love for her 8 grandchildren. They brought her as much joy as she brought them. Dolly will be remembered for her outgoing personality and always being the life of the party. She also loved to travel and shop. 

Dolly fought a long and courageous battle against her cancer over the last few years, overcoming countless surgeries and hospital stays. She was carried and sustained by everyone’s love and support. Dolly ensured that she made an impact on everyone she knew. We are comforted by Dolly’s faith in Jesus, that we can all have peace and hope that she is embracing her new body, completely healed, and in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.

Visitation will be held for family and friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH). Funeral service and burial will follow immediately after.
