Harry "Dick" Richard Milby, age 77, of Dayton, passed away August 4, 2020. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 29, 1943, the son of the late Charles and Kathryn (Freeman) Milby.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky Milby; daughter, Kathy Milby; brother, Bill Milby; and great granddaughter, Chelsea Bowman.
Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Doris Milby; son, Vernon (Lisa) Milby and Shawn Milby; Step-Sons, Terry (Aimee) Martin and Rick Herbst; grandchildren, Mendy, Danny, Kim, Amber, Ricky, Vernon, Dusty, Christian, Zach and Breanna; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Glenna Milby; sister in law, Brenda Shawhan; special friend, Peggy Combs; and many other loving extended family members and friends.
He retired from Rumpke Waste Management after 20 years as a Truck Driver. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, going to BINGO, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family. He adored his family and will be dearly missed by them.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at 12pm at Wellfield Park, 616 River Rd., Union, OH 45322. If you are attending the service, please bring a chair and your fishing pole.
