In Loving Memory of Dianna Rae Floyd
August 4, 1963 – September 13, 2026
Dianna Rae Floyd, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Born on August 4, 1963, she lived a life full of deep love, grace, and dedication to her family, who meant the world to her.
Dianna’s life was anchored by her unwavering faith in God. Her strong spiritual foundation guided her through every season of life, and her compassionate heart and quiet strength were a reflection of the love of Christ that she carried with her always.
On January 15, 1983, she married the love of her life, Joe Floyd, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories, partnership, and shared faith.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She is survived by her mother, Saundra Byers; her beloved husband, Joe Floyd; and her sister, Darla Baker. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children and grandchildren:
Son Joseph Floyd and his wife, Kacee, and their child, Jonas Floyd.
Daughter Sarah Couch and her husband, Duke, and their children, Devin, Kaden, Jaxson, Alicia, Coleson, and Rowan Couch.
Daughter Angela McPherson and her husband, Richard, and their child, Rylan McPherson.
Son Michael Floyd and his wife, Kelsey, and their children, Claire and Emily Floyd.
She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Byers.
While her sudden passing leaves a profound emptiness in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Her warmth, faith, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service honoring and celebrating Dianna’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home – North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424) at 12:30pm.
