Diana C. Proctor

Diana C. Proctor, age 74 of Huber Heights, passed away September 8, 2018. She was born on February 2, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Russell and Thelma (Sims) Van Hook. In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Proctor and granddaughter, Leanne Proctor.

She is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Proctor; children, John Proctor, Jim (Adam Dudley) Proctor and Jerry (Mindy) Proctor; grandchildren, Autumn Zaminski, Michael Proctor, Amberley Proctor, Paige Proctor and Nathan Proctor; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy, Betty and Rusty; numerous extended family and friends.

Diana worked and retired from Walt Disney World after over two decades of service as a cast member. She was extremely proud of her career with Disney and all the co-workers she met along the way. Besides her career at Disney, she also worked at Delta as a stewardess, Lowes and other small occupations. Diana LOVED animals and took care of many four-legged friends over the years as part of her family. She enjoyed acting and singing in plays within her community in Del Web, Spruce Creek Country Club. Diana had a personality larger than life and enjoyed every minute with family, friends and the community; she did not know a stranger! She was very open-minded and readily accepted everyone for who they are.

As Diana has requested, she did not want anyone to mourn her passing, instead celebrate life! She was very patriotic and requested donations be made to support our military in lieu of flowers.
