Desmón A. Barrett, age 20, of Centerville, Ohio walked into the eternal garden of heaven on April 9th, 2021.
Desmón graduated from Centerville H.S. in 2020 where he played football as a running back, safety and defensive back, most of his H.S career.
Desmón was a gentle soul with a contagious smile that could light up any room. He was an uplifting man with a very sweet demeanor. He was definitely someone you could count on to be there when you needed a shoulder to cry on or a warm embrace. He was well mannered, goofy and extremely loving. At family gatherings you were guaranteed to catch him playing with or carrying one of his baby cousins. Desmón was proudly raised by his mother, Angelica Grullon, and her village of loved ones.
Desmón is preceded in death by his Father, Cecil CJ Barrett, and his Grandfather, Domingo Grullon AKA "Papa".
Desmón will be forever missed by his Mother, Angelica Grullon, Grandmothers, Damaris Lopez AKA "Nana" and Tonya Grullon, Aunt, Jessica Grullon , Uncle, Antonio (Tony) Grullon, Paternal Sister, Ciayla Barrett, a crew of cousins, many Titi's (Aunties), Tio's (Uncles), tons of friends, coaches and his four legged brother, Jax.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). Funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm. The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
