Dennis K. Thacker

Dennis K. Thacker, born on June 24, 1960, departed this world on February 14, 2026. He will be remembered fondly for his strong will and kind spirit. Dennis was a man of artistic flair; he loved to draw and paint, showcasing his creativity in every piece he crafted. His passion for music was evident as he delighted in singing, especially during karaoke sessions—though those who followed him often thought twice about taking the mic after his performances.

A devoted family man and a true fan of football and WWE wrestling, Dennis found joy in both the creative and competitive aspects of life. He shared two decades of love and partnership with his beloved girlfriend, Georgie Perrault. Dennis was a proud father to his three daughters: Emily (Chris) Moran, Janice Thacker, and Erica Thacker. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Scarlett, Caden, Ryleigh, and Kyleigh.

Dennis is survived by his siblings: Charles A. (Sue) Thacker, David Thacker, Stella K. Steele, Judith L. (Dan) Holt, Del A. Thacker, Gary R. (Julie) Thacker, Sandy M. (John) Payne, Patricia A. (Bobby) Winkler, Ronnie S. (Patty) Thacker, and Tim L. Thacker, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who treasured him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma M. and Edward P. Thacker Sr., along with several siblings: Edward P. Thacker Jr., Besie R. Hendricks, Barbara S. Caudill, James R. Thacker, and Janice E. Riddlebarger. Dennis's presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are welcome to visit from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., with a Celebration of Dennis' life starting at 3:00pm.
