Dennis Daniel, born on April 28, 1948, left us on September 25, 2025, leaving behind a lasting legacy of kindness and laughter. Throughout his life, Dennis dedicated himself to his work, spending many years with General Motors and Navistar. He was a proud electrician affiliated with Local Union 82 and served as a maintenance supervisor at the Mound.
Dennis valued education and earned his Associate's degree from Sinclair Community College, reflecting his commitment to personal growth and skill development. His sense of humor and jovial nature made him a cherished companion, as he was a loving jokester until the very end, always knowing how to bring a smile to those around him.
Outside of work, Dennis found joy in various hobbies. He loved fishing, taking every opportunity to cast a line into the water, whether it was with friends or family. He enjoyed quality time with his grandchildren, often seen trekking local park trails or reminiscing about his younger days hunting. These activities not only brought him happiness but also created cherished memories with his loved ones.
Dennis is survived by his two sons, Gregory (Karen) Daniel and Phillip Daniel. He leaves behind five grandchildren: Jared Daniel, Kaylee Daniel, Alex (Kate) Daniel, Devon Daniel, and Crystal Daniel, all of whom he adored and cherished dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Frances Daniel, and his two siblings, Paul and Sue Daniel. Dennis's spirit will continue to live on through the love and joy he spread during his time on this earth. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know him.
