Graye was born on February 28, 1945 in Monterey, TN. She lived all of her adult life in Ohio. Graye was preceded in death by her parents, William B. and Edna M. Copeland. Husband Martin M. Harmuth. Siblings, Charlie Copeland, Fred Copeland, Morris Copeland, Thelma "Nell" Conley, Doyle Copeland. She is survived by her sons, Nick (Pam) Roberts of Jonesboro, GA and Tony (Connie) Roberts of Dayton, OH. Grandchildren Josh, Kyle and Nicky Roberts of Jonesboro, GA, Michael (Blyss) Roberts of Cincinnati OH, Brittany (Mikey) Chapman of Centerville, OH. Great-grandchildren, Oliver, Miley, Apollo, Leonidas. She is also survived by her brother Paul "Mac" (Delores) Copeland of Beavercreek and her sister Jo Nicholas of Winston Salem, NC. Numerous nieces and nephews and other family members as well.

Graye retired from Dayton City Schools after 28 years of service in the Early Childhood Education Department. She had numerous special friends and acquaintances, especially the "Lunch Bunch" and special neighbors Jerry and Lyn Humston.

Mom was well known for holding "Court" in her driveway and this tradition continued after she moved into her assisted living facility. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Spring Hill Singing Woods for all of the love and assistance that you given Mom over the last 3 plus years. Mom couldn't tell you how much she appreciated your assistance, but she would have if she could.

Visitation Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd Beavercreek, OH 45432. Funeral Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Beaver Cemetery.
