Deloris Puckett

Deloris Puckett, age 74 of Kettering, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024. She was born March 19, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Arvil and Virginia Berger.

Deloris found peace while she was sitting on her back porch watching the birds and enjoying her flowers. She loved to garden and spend time in her yard. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family, especially her siblings and grandchildren. Deloris was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister and Mammaw who will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert J. "Bob" Puckett; father, Arvil Berger; brother, Ronnie Berger; brother-in-law, Chuck Breakfield and niece, Rachel Breakfield Forbes. 

Deloris is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Puckett and Chrissy (Shawn) Puckett-Sherman; three grandchildren, Scott (Tori) Renner, Michaela Wells and Kylie Brandenburg; two great grandchildren, Clayton Renner and Natalie Renner; mother, Virginia Berger; siblings, Robert Berger, Linda (Bill) Berger Allen, Jeannette (Chuck) Berger Breakfield, Deborah Berger Puckett, Daryl (Cindy) Berger and Amanda (Dave) Berger-Heckman and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a service to follow at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
