Delories Ann Burnett, 61, of Dayton, OH was called to be with the Lord December 26, 2017 in the care of Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
Born to David and Thelma Burnett, in Augusta, GA, Delories was the seventh of ten children. Her siblings are as follows: Mary Palmer (Bernice), Robert Harris (Melvis), David Burnett (Earnestine), Thelma Allen (Calvin), Barbera Hammonds (Robert), Joyce Royal (John), Yvonne "Shelia" Burnett, Deborah Burnett, Donnell Burnett.
Known as "Lois" to all family and friends she lived a happy life.
Early in her life, Delories moved to Dayton, OH where she not only gained an extended family but she too started her own family.
From her extended family, the Browns, she gained many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Before her transition, the Browns were by her side everyday caring for her, as well as praying that she get through such troubling time.
Delories birthed seven children: Bobby, Tonya Golphin (Shannon), Angela King (Desmond), Lasalle, Juanista, Marvina, and Jasmine. From those seven children, she grew a host of grandchildren: Tychon, Trequan, Bobby Jr., Shadarius, Kiersten, Omni, Amoré, Kuulika, Lasalle Jr., Khalif, Rocco, Desmond Jr., Desireé, Chase, Chance, Dazuan, JaMaya, JaMiya, Payton, and Devyn.
We will remember Delories as a fun and vibrant person. One who loved to dance, sing, and listen to music. We will remember the jokes she would tell and the laughter that was filled with joy shortly after.
We ask that you say, "see you later," instead of "goodbye," for her suffering has ended, her memories will be shared, and she is now OUR angel.
Delories is preceded in death by her parents David and Thelma Burnett, her eldest brother Robert Harris, her extended father Homer C. Jacko, and her extended brother Anthony Brown Johnson.
