Delores A. Cox, age 92 of Monroe, passed peacefully December 31, 2023 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Community. She was born in Paris, Kentucky on August 12,1931 to the late Omer and Mary Moreland.
Delores graduated from West Chester High School, Union Township in 1949 and was later employed at Miami Carey in Monroe for 15 years. She was an avid gardener, reader, and interior decorator.
Delores was presided in death by her husband Dallas; sisters, Nancy, Dorthy, and Betty; brothers, Earl, Clinton, and Jimmy; sons, Derek and Tony; daughter, Pam; and grandson, Ian.
She is survived by daughters, Beverly Collins and Anne Rosenbalm; sons, Ron Ling (Song), Joseph (Amy) and Thomas (Sharin) Snively; grandchildren, Stephane Fryer, Sam Ling, Joseph and Alexander Collins, Tony Ling Jr., Lisa Byers, Matt Noble, Natalie Centers, Hannah Snively, Ashley Bazemore, Haley Carrol, Connor and Olivia Snively; and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family hopes those who would like to honor her will find a quiet time to remember who she was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. Delores wished to have private services at this time. She will be laid to rest alongside her mother, Mary Moreland; sisters Dorthy and Nancy at Union Township Cemetery in West Chester, Ohio.
