Delores May Abney

Delores M. Abney, 90, of Miamisburg, passed away on Saturday morning, January 31, 2026. She went peacefully at home in her sleep, surrounded by loving family. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Lucy Haggard; her husband, Gibson Abney; two daughters, Lois and Judy; and the recent passing of DJ, her beloved dog of 13 years, all who were surely there to greet her in heaven. Delores was a devoted great grandmother and will be remembered for her passion for dogs, music, and food shared with family. She is survived by son, Hugh Abney Jr., several grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
