Delmar "Doc" Parker, age 75 of Dayton, passed away on December 16, 2015 at 10:30 pm of multiple organ failure.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Parker; mother and father: Henry and Marie Parker; son, Tony Parker; grandsons: Ryan and Shawn Parker; and brother, Jerry Parker.
Doc is survived by his son, Mark (Jess) Parker; grandchildren: Katelyn, Dawson, Kayla, Markia, Tanner, Shaunta (Courtney) and Amanda; sisters: Carolyn Mobley and Barbara Norman; brothers: Jim (Peggy) Parker and Tommy (Alfreda) Parker; his dog, Dobbie, who was his best friend; many nieces, nephews and many loving friends, including special friends: Allen, Debbie, Taylor, Bobby Zideroff and Debbie Gibson.
Doc was a member of Amvets # 24 and F.O.E. # 3031.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the funeral service will be held at 8:30 am on Monday. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
