Del Mulkey Jr., born on December 17, 1933, to Del Mulkey Sr., and Edna Mulkey, in Boldman, Kentucky, passed away on May 27, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Arthur; sister, Edgaretta; nephew, Jimmie; grandson, James Lee; great-granddaughter, Henli; and great-grandson, Kiel.
He is survived by his sister, Virginia; daughter, Deborah (Jerry) Hughes; son, John (Debbie) Mulkey; granddaughters, Kelly (Todd), Stacey (Kevin), Nikki (Mark), and Brandi (Jeremy); grandson, Jeremy (Morgan); great-granddaughters, Haley, Alexis, MaKenna, Ashlynne, Makinleigh, Addy, Maeleigh, Trinity and Zoey; great-grandsons, Hayden, Aidan, Jacob, Zane, Liam, Cooper, and Carter; great-great granddaughters, Jacey Rae and Aniston; great-great grandson, Kylen; and several special nieces and nephews.
Del was employed through General Motors for thirty-nine years. He was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, collecting knives, watching westerns, spending time with his family, and going to church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
