Debra Whiteman

Debra Whiteman, age 66 from Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Hospice of Dayton after a long time battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Debbie was a 1978 honor student of Walter E. Stebbins High School where she went on to continue her education at Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing. She graduated with her Registered Nursing degree in 1981. Debbie went on to serve three decades of devoted service to nursing. Ten years at Miami Valley Hospital and 20 years dedicated to Hospice of Dayton where she brought compassion, comfort, and kindness to countless patience and families.

Debbie is survived by her loving sister, Donna Guy; special cousin, Myrtle Grigsby; and caring Godson, Sean Baughman who thought of her like a mother. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and several friends.

Her passing leaves a deep sorrow in the hearts of all who knew her, while her life remains a beautiful reminder of love, laughter, and devotion to all that loved her.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral Services will be officiated at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, same location. Debbie will be laid to rest following services at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
