Debra Sue "Debbie" Neal

Debbie Neal, born March 1, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on August 21, 2026, in Kettering, Ohio.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Virgil Neal; daughter, Ashley Miller; stepson, Scott Neal; grandson, Nolan Miller; sister, Yolanda Hunter; brother, Keith Hunter; brother-in-law, Jim “Pat” Neal; nephews, Brandon and Hunter Morris (Cassandra DeMoss); and great-nephews, Brandon Jr. and Blake Morris.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Hunter, her father, Johnny Hunter, and niece, Leah Morris.

Debbie was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, beloved sister, aunt, and friend. She spent her career as a salon owner and hairstylist, where doing hair was much more than her livelihood. Through the years, she formed countless friendships and touched the lives of so many people.

More than anything, Debbie will be remembered for her generous heart and the way she was always willing to help others. If someone needed a place to stay, a helping hand, or simply someone to be there, her door and her heart were always open. Her smile could light up a room, and her warmth made people feel welcome and loved.

Debbie also enjoyed being a Shrine Lady alongside her Shriner husband, Virgil, supporting him and sharing in the friendships and fellowship of the Shriners.

Debbie’s kindness, generosity, beautiful smile, and willingness to help anyone in need will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through her family, her friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her life.
