Debra Kay (Dyer) Ashmore, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, departed from this world on November 27, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on April 1, 1962, Debra's zest for life was as vibrant as her love for beauty and creativity, which she actively pursued in her career as a licensed cosmetologist. Her passion for her work was evident in every perfectly styled hairdo and every dazzling makeup look she crafted, bringing joy and confidence to those who sat in her chair.
Debra was not only a master of aesthetics but also a quintessential girly-girl who embraced her femininity wholeheartedly. She relished the moments spent preparing for a night out, polishing her look with careful attention and thoughtfulness that mirrored her vibrant personality. Her joyful spirit filled the room, and as a friend, she was a jokester at heart, always ready with a quick-witted remark to lift the mood of those around her.
Throughout her life, Debra faced numerous challenges; however, her strength and determination shone brightly as she fought valiantly against adversity. Her resilience inspired many, showcasing an indomitable spirit that reminded everyone that laughter and joy could weather even the stormiest days. She was unafraid to voice her mind and opinions, embodying a rebellious streak that added to her charm.
Family was the cornerstone of Debra's universe. Her grandchildren were her world, and she adored them more than anything. Each shared moment with them became a treasured memory, filled with love, laughter, and her infectious joy. Debra cherished spending time with her family and friends, being the heart of every gathering and the life of every party. Beyond her social nature, she found pleasure in the simple joys of life, including the calming pastime of coloring in her books, which allowed her creative spirit to flourish in a different way.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Phyllis Dyer; her grandmother, Christine Knaus; and her brother, James P. Dyer. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Heather Ashmore (Lundan); her grandchildren: Lundan II and Lyberty; her sister, Rita Click (Danny); and her nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

She leaves behind memories that will forever be cherished, a reminder to embrace life with courage, laughter, and an unwavering spirit.
