Deborah Ann Burris, a cherished mother, devoted grandmother, and lifelong resident of Kettering, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 2, 2024, at the age of seventy-five. Born on May 24, 1949, Deborah lived a life marked by kindness, faith, and unwavering love.
As a beloved mother, Deborah is survived by her three children, DJ (Kate) Bissinger, Deidre (Jeff) Roberts, and Devon (Mike) Morse, along with her cherished grandchildren: Clinton Bissinger, Hunter Bissinger, Jake Bissinger, Paige Weekley-Roberts, Payton Weekley-Roberts, Rylie Morse, Jordyn Morse, Kamryn Morse, and Josiah Morse.
Deborah was not only an extraordinary mother and grandmother but also a proud sister and aunt. She is survived by her sister, Claudia (Vern) Ford, and a loving array of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Irene Burris, who undoubtedly welcomed their daughter to her heavenly home with open arms.
As a retired employee of 5/3 Bank, Deborah dedicated herself not only to her career but also to her family, where her heart truly resided. Deborah often shared her greatest moments as she watched her grandchildren grow, learn, and thrive. These moments brought endless joy to her life, and she took delight in being involved in their various activities. Her devotion as a mother and proud grandmother was evident in every moment spent with her family.
In addition to her family commitments, Deborah nourished her soul through simple joys. She found peace and happiness in gardening, tending to her beautiful flowers and plants, and relished moments spent outdoors. Her loyal dog, Sofie, was a constant companion, bringing her comfort and joy.
Deborah was a remarkable woman, known for her huge heart and her faithfulness as a devoted Christian. Her kindness touched everyone she met, and her loving nature created bonds that will last an eternity. In all her endeavors, Deborah showed the world what it meant to truly love unconditionally.
As we say goodbye to Deborah, we hold dear the memories of her laughter, the warmth of her embrace, and the strength of her spirit. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, remaining a guiding light for those she held close.
A gathering with family and friends to honor Deborah will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Liberty Heights Church - Lebanon, 161 Miller Road, Lebanon, Ohio, followed by a memorial service celebrating her vibrant life at 11:30 a.m.
