Debora Lynn Stamper, beloved and cherished wife, mother, grammy, and great-grammy, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, in Tipp City. She was born on September 26, 1957, and throughout her 68 years, she touched the lives of many with her warmth and grace. Debora’s passing occurred peacefully, surrounded by loved ones—a fitting testament to the deep connections she held dear throughout her life.
Debora embraced each chapter of her journey with dignity, leaving behind a legacy shaped by her character and compassion. She was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering support for those she cared about. She found peace in nature and enjoyed being outside; camping, fishing, and razor riding in Tennessee and Kentucky. Her presence brought comfort, and her thoughtful nature made a lasting impact on friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Debora leaves to cherish her memory, beloved husband of 36 years, Danny Stamper; children, Jimmy Couch, Jodi Mensching, Donnie Couch, Danielle Stamper, and Cheryl (Justin) Metzner; devoted grandchildren, Tressa, William, Danny, Whitney, Brittany, Taylor, Travis, Tyler, Jason, Zachary, Dillion, Austine, Delene, Macey, Jacob, Dalton, Gabby, Eric, and Ethan; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Crabtree and Chuck Crabtree; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Debora was preceded in death by her parents, David and Velma Mary Crabtree; daughter, Jayleen Branscum; and grandson, Christian Vaughn.
Family and friends are invited to honor Debora’s life at the upcoming services. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m., also at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton.
Though Debora is no longer with us, her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who remember her gentle spirit and generous heart. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
