Debbie Emmons, born on January 26, 1954, and passing on June 1, 2026, leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, heartfelt creativity, and deep familial love. She lived a life marked by serene contentment, finding joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures that enriched her days.
A woman of gentle spirit, Debbie found pleasure in writing stories, weaving narratives that spoke softly yet profoundly, reflecting her thoughtful nature. Crafting with yarn was another of her treasured hobbies, a tactile extension of her creativity that brought texture and color to her world and a sense of accomplishment with every stitch. She took pride in her work at the family donut shop, Emmon's Bellbrook Donut Shop and enjoyed working as a pet sitter. She cherished the connections and friends she made during those times in her life.
Perhaps most dear to Debbie’s heart was her role as an aunt and great-aunt. She embraced these familial ties with warmth and devotion. Her affection extended beyond people to her beloved cats, Socks and Cali, whose companionship brought her great joy and comfort through the years.
Debbie is lovingly remembered by her sister Marlene Ferry and brother-in-law Jim, who stood by her with unwavering support. Her nieces, Ashlee Crowe and her husband Tyler, and Arica Mazza carry forward Debbie’s warmth in their hearts. She was also a cherished great-aunt to Kyler Ferry, Alex Reynolds, Nico Strike, Kaidi Strike, and Keegan Strike.
Her memory lives on in many cousins and friends whose lives were touched by her genuine kindness and soft-spoken strength. Though preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mary and James Emmons I, and her siblings, Danny Ledford and James Ray Emmons II, Debbie’s spirit endures among those she loved and who loved her deeply.
Debbie Emmons’ life was a testament to the beauty found in quiet moments, family, creativity, and love. She will be profoundly missed, yet forever treasured in the memories she has left behind.
