Dawn L. Mahr, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend to those who knew her, passed away in her hometown of Kettering on April 2, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on January 13, 1951, Dawn’s life was a tapestry with deep appreciation for nature that came to her to be fed or housed. Dawn possessed an ability to draw people into conversation with her self taught intellect. She cherished moments spent with those who routinely provided services. Dawn had immense support from her family that was decades long up to her passing. Dawn's artistic inclinations manifested early in life, as she danced Ballet at Memorial Hall, where her ballet performance and lessons centered her adolescence. Music and the arts was only rivaled by her love for French culture. She rode horses and bicycles and enjoyed reading. She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Richards; her dear sister, Mary Mahr; and her thoughtful brothers and their wives, Ted (Esther) Mahr and John (Dee) Mahr. Dawn's father, Theodore Mahr, predeceased her in death.
