David Wayne Simmons

David Wayne Simmons, age 6 months from Xenia, Ohio, received his wings on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

Baby David was a happy, smiling baby, and everyone who knew him, loved him. He will be greatly missed and cherished by his mother Ci'ana D. Simmons and his father Dallas J.D. Washington; sisters, Zuriah Begley and Hailey Washington; grandparents, Edith Berry and David and Deborah Berry ; Lea and Joe Washington; Heather Simmons; Pamela Bumgardner and grandfather James Washington; aunts, Chelsea Freelan, Nicholle Ennis, Kylee DeWitt, Alexia DeWitt and Trenity Hayes; uncles, Taylor Rogers and Danny Patterson; cousins, Taylor Rogers II, Ja'Marrione Smith, Raelynn Rogers, Isabella Meadows and Keira Patterson; godparents, Nikki Wellman and Dylan Adams, as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Baby David will be greeted with open arms to his new life by his great-grandmother, Jewel Tackett and two great-grandfathers, Jesse Berry and Roy Lee.

Funeral services honoring baby David's life will take place on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, OH at 2:00 p.m.
Family will meet prior to the viewing (12:00-1:00 p.m.) and then family and loved ones are welcome at 1:00 – 2:00 pm.

David will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens, in Xenia, Ohio, following the service.
