David M. Moore, a loving son, devoted father, and cherished friend, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2025, at the age of 34 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born on November 21, 1990, in Dayton, Ohio, David's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and the joy he brought to those around him.
David graduated from Belmont High School, where he not only excelled academically but also participated in the ROTC Program, laying the foundation for his proud service in the U.S. Marine Corps. His time in the military was a point of pride for him, shaping his character and sense of duty.
Known for his infectious sense of humor, David was always joking and bringing laughter into the lives of those who knew him. He had a genuine heart for helping others, constantly looking for ways to lend a hand. Whether it was through his handyman skills or his love for fishing, he approached life with a hands-on attitude and a generous spirit.
David is survived by his mother, Donna Collins; father, Aaron Moore; his two adoring children, David Moore II and Haleigh Moore; his loving sisters, Sarah Perdue and Cassie Taylor; his cherished grandmother, Mary Lou Reed; and his great-grandmother, Helen Green. He will also be missed by his special cousins, David Green and Michael Bice, as well as numerous nephews, additional cousins, and friends. His three beloved dogs, Coco, Loulou, and Gravy, were also a significant part of his life, filling his days with joy and companionship.
David was predeceased by his stepfather, Billy Perdue, and his beloved dog, Angel.
The memories he created and the love he shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. David M. Moore's legacy will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched, reminding them to find joy in every moment, help others generously, and cherish the bonds of family.
