David G. Linkous

David G. Linkous passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on October 27, 1951, and will be remembered as a hard and dedicated worker, as well as a devoted husband and father who always did whatever was needed to care for his family.

David found joy in both activity and time spent with those he loved. He liked playing basketball and was an enthusiastic fan of college basketball and college football. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, Rebecca, and together they often went to Florida to visit family. Those who knew him will remember a man whose life was grounded in dedication, loyalty, and love for his family.

Above all, David’s life was centered on the people closest to him. He is survived by his son, Michael Moran. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Alex and Alayna, who were an important part of his family circle. David is also survived by his sister, Mary Lou, and his brother, Danny. He will be remembered as well by his nieces and nephew, including Stephanie, xxxxx, Lisa, and Dean.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca A. Linkous; his brother, Doug; and parents, Virginia and Milton Linkous, whose place in his life remained enduring and significant.

David G. Linkous will be remembered with love for his steady presence, his strong work ethic, and the care he gave so freely to his family. His memory will remain with all who knew him and loved him.
