David A. Lewis, born on October 10, 1951, in Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, in his hometown. A man remembered for his very generous and kind nature, David touched the lives of many with his compassion and warmth.
David cherished his faith. He was an avid fan of Westerns and the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. He also spent time boating and fishing, activities that connected him with nature and offered peaceful moments of reflection. Family vacations were another treasured aspect of his life, creating enduring memories with those he loved most.
He was the beloved husband of Anna for 21 years, whose companionship was a source of love and support; children, Tyrena (August) Anderson, Tyrell, Logan (Chrissy) Post, and Lacey (Mike) York; grandchildren and great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Betty J. (Delk) Lewis, and two siblings.
His passing marks the loss of a cherished individual whose life was defined by generosity, kindness, and a genuine love for those around him. David A. Lewis will be remembered forever by those who had the privilege to know him as a loving husband, a devoted father and grandfather, and a friend to many.
A private service will be held by the family.
