David Lee Wilson, known affectionately as Dave, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, in Beavercreek, Ohio, at the age of 64. Born on January 28, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio, Dave was a lifelong resident of the region and leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and deep devotion to his family.

A proud graduate of Fairborn Baker High School's class of 1981, Dave’s early years in Dayton were marked by steady friendships and cherished family memories. After graduation, he dedicated himself to a long career as a plastic injection line operator for SK Tech. Dave was known among his colleagues for his work ethic and steadfast reliability, continuing in this role until he could no longer work.

Those closest to Dave knew him as a quiet, funny soul whose wit shone especially during spirited games of trivia. Many would recall that he was not someone you wanted to challenge—victory against Dave in trivia was rare indeed. His knowledge, especially of sports and history, was renowned and his clever sense of humor brought smiles to those who shared time with him.

Dave found simple joys in life, and television quiz shows like Jeopardy! were among his favorites. He was also a passionate sports fan, cheering enthusiastically for the Pittsburgh Steelers and The Ohio State Buckeyes football team. His love for these teams was only matched by the camaraderie he shared with family and friends during game days. Dave would spend hours learning about classic cars, going to car shows, as well as watching the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auctions.

To Dave, family was his proudest accomplishment. He is survived and dearly missed by his father, Richard Wilson; his sisters, Rhonda (Darrin) Bellert and Cindy Ankrom; his nieces and nephews, Danielle (Tadd) Herman, Michael (Samantha) Larason, Allison (Blake) Ramos, Samuel (Michi)  Bellert, Rachel (Kurt) Ankrom, Jeremy Bellert and great nephews Nathan Larason, Michael Swan, Aden Herman, Jax Ankrom, and Xavier Ankrom. Dave was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Barbara Wilson. His memory will live on in each of them, carrying forward his love, humor, and spirit through the generations.

David Lee Wilson’s life was anchored by genuine care for those around him, gentle laughter, and a steadfast presence that touched everyone who knew him. While he will be missed deeply, his loved ones find comfort in the lasting legacy of kindness and humor he leaves behind.

Details regarding services to honor Dave’s life have not been provided at this time. The family appreciates the thoughts and support from all who knew and cared for him.
