David L. Henry, age 39 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017. He was born July 25, 1978 in Dayton, Ohio the son Toya Henry and David Taylor.
David was loving a loving, caring and respectful son who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved his video games and Dallas Cowboys and will be missed but not forgotten. David is the light of our lives and when things got dark he shined even brighter, love him always!
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Joe Taylor and grandmother, Katie Taylor.
David will be missed by his loving parents, Toya Henry and David Taylor (Rubena Taylor); step father, Rory Calhoun; grandmother, Barbara Henry; finance, Shelly Austin; step-daughter, Sarah McDaniel; sisters, Quata Douglas and Shadavia Fuller; aunts and uncles including special uncle, Joe Taylor and Sheila; cousins, including special cousins Rakisha and Rocko Shontee and many friends.
Family will receive friends Friday, August 25, 2017 from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Family dinner to follow at David's grandmother's home for family only. Donations can be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
