David L. Hamilton

David L. Hamilton, age 79 of Dayton, passed away September 30, 2020. He was born September 14, 1941 in Barboursville, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnnie Hamilton and Ethel Roach; wife, Phronie "Penny" Hamilton; son, David Hamilton; grandsons: Joshua, Matthew and Ronnie; brother, Johnnie; and sister, Anna Ruth.

Dave is survived by his son, Bill Hamilton (Nita); daughter, Donna Hamilton; grandchildren: Heather Shepherd (Ron), Stacy Hamilton (Harley), James Sipe and Trish; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Dorothy, Sue, Geneva, Jim, Randall, Sam and William; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dave painted cars around the Dayton area for most of his life. He was a loving father.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
