David Alan Garber, age 61 of Dayton, passed away January 22, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born June 9, 1955 in Xenia, Ohio the son of Dwight and Dorothy (Cleveland) Garber.
He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Jefferson Garber.
Dave was a 1973 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School. He was employed at Subaru of Dayton.
Dave was well-known in the Hot-Rod community and for his custom wiring. Two cars he wired won the prestigious" Riddler Award".
Dave is survived by his three brothers, Steve (Cindy) Carrasas, John (Brenda) Garber, Dwight (Linda) Garber; he is also survived by numerous other family and friends.
A Celebration of Dave's Life will take place at a "Memorial car show" on May 7th 10:00 am-5:00pm at the "Polish Club" 3690 Needmore Rd Dayton Ohio. Donations will be given to Hospice of Dayton in recognition of their wonderful care for Dave.
No funeral services will be held.
He will be interred in Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio at a later date.
