David E. Drake

David Erskine Drake, age 66 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025. He was born May 9, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio son of the late William Cardwell and Betty Drake.

David was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He retired after 43 years of employment with the Local 75 Roofers Union. He had a passion for gardening, hunting arrowheads, hiking, and doing anything outdoors. David's pride and joy was his family and spending as much time with them that he could. He was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. David will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Amra Parker; and brother, Stephen Drake.

He is survived by his children, David Parker, Emily Brumit, Ramiro Parker, Ryan Parker, Sean Brumit, and Josh (Ashley) Brumit; grandchildren, Eden, Yasmine, Xandria, X'bella, Kenny, Ryden, Drake, Winter, Talton, Elijah, Violet, and Josh Jr.; brothers, Mark Drake and Peter Drake; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Per David's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
