David H. "Butch" Bryant, age 74 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born January 4, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Harlan and Erma Bryant.
Butch proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from GM after over 30 years of dedicated service. Butch was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved to ride his Harley-Davidson.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Emma; daughter, Cindy and grandson, Jeremy.
David is survived by his children, John, Mary Angela, Michael and Michelle; grandchildren, Ashley and Cody; many great-grandchildren; brother, Michael (Barb) Bryant; as well as numerous family and friends.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, where family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Burial to follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Lebanon, Ohio.
