Daryl Dewayne (Danny) Joiner, passed away suddenly and unexpected.. Affectionately known as Danny, was born on March 11, 1974, in Montgomery Alabama. He brought joy and warmth to everyone who knew him during his time here. Danny passed away on November 16, 2024 in Dayton, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and an unwavering spirit of helpfulness.
Danny's life was characterized by a deep sense of family and community. He graduated from Carver High School in Montgomery, AL, in June of 1992, and later pursued further education, obtaining a Peer Support Specialist Certification at Sinclair Community College. His time at Select Tool and Die Industry Corporation in Dayton, Ohio, was marked by dedication and hard work, reflecting his commitment to his profession.
A loving and kind soul, Danny was never one to turn down a request for help. His friends and family often described him as extremely handy, always ready to tackle any task or challenge that presented itself. He had a passion for reading and was an active member of a book club, where he shared his love for literature with like-minded individuals. Additionally, Danny had a knack for fixing things, often taking them apart just to see how they worked. His creativity also shone through in his painting, a hobby that allowed him to express his artistic side.
Danny is survived by his cherished children, Daryl Joiner Jr, Darionna Joiner, and Lakhrya Joiner. He is also remembered fondly by his brothers and sisters: Henry Joiner, Emma Joiner, Deborah Joiner (Wayne), Arnita Hall (Jermaine), Harold Joiner, Tameka Hines-Johnson (Devin), James Hines, Lashundra Hines (Ron), Shenequa Joiner (Dewayne), Brenda Dowell, and Christine Rudolph; and closed friend, Dennis Serrer. He leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.
Danny is reunited in spirit with his beloved parents, Tenia Joiner and Julius Rudolph, as well as his maternal grandmother, Emma Dixon. His siblings who have passed on-Terry Joiner, Barbara Hines-Blackmon, Raymond Rudolph, Debra Rudolph, Pamela Rudolph, Gregory Rudolph, and Carl Rudolph-will surely welcome him with open arms in the embrace of eternity.
Family, friends, and all who were touched by Danny's life are invited to pay their respects. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with a funeral service following at 1:00 PM. Both events will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424.
As we remember Daryl Dwayne Joiner, we hold dear the memories of his loving kindness and generosity. He will be missed profoundly, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his beautiful journey.
