Darryl Hinkle

Darryl Lee Hinkle, age 66 of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026. He was born January 24, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Belve and Juanita Hinkle.

Darryl retired after 33 years of dedicated service from the Carpenter's Union. He was also a Business Agent for the Union where he was a member for 40 years. Woodworking, both professionally and personally, was a passion of his. In his free time, he enjoyed working in his garden. He was an avid Ohio Sports Fan and never missed a chance to argue sports and politics with his best friend, Jay Crawford. His family meant the world to him, but his proudest moment was becoming a beloved Papaw to his "partner in crime," Addison Grace.

He is preceded in death by his father, Belve Hinkle.

Darryl is survived by his wife, Darla Sue Hinkle; children, Cody Nicholas (Samantha) Hinkle and Taylor Nicole (Ryan) Heil; grandchild, Addison Grace Heil; mother, Juanita Hinkle; brother, Rodney Hinkle; and his beloved dog, Brutus.
