Darrell Severn

Darrell Severn, age 77 of Dayton, Ohio passed away February 25, 2026. He was born October 29, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio. Son of the late Jefferson and Bonnie (Ramsey) Severn.

Darrell was a longtime faithful member of North Dayton Baptist Church. He served as a Sunday School Teacher, Lay Minister, and volunteered his ministry to the nursing home in which he resided. He enjoyed writing poetry and stories. Darrell will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Sanders; and twin brother, Gerald Severn.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Margaret Severn; sister, Carol Ann (David) Storost; nephews, Jeff Storost and Jeremy Storost; great nieces and nephews, Maddie, Ava, Emma, and Aaron; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
