Darrell Rollins
Darrell Rollins, age 64, of Moraine, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 9, 2011.
Darrell was born May 15, 1946 in Sawyer, KY to the late Robert & Lucy Rollins. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
Darrell was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church in Beavercreek.
Darrell was preceded in death by his brothers, Dean, James, and Menford Rollins; sisters, Doreen, and Mary Zellers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Shirley Rollins, daughters, Melissa (Darryl) Gadd, Dava (Jason) Durham, and Larenda Souder; son, Darrell Jr. (Jennifer) Rollins; grandchildren, Shane, Shawn, Kimberly, Mark, Taylor, Dillon, Brandon, Emma, Kristen, James, Levi, and Brennen; brothers, Amos (Goldie) Rollins, Harold (Shirley) Rollins, Roger (Ruth) Rollins, and Dale (Julie) Rollins; sisters, Norma (Carness) Rose and Wanda (Pete) Perry; and many nieces; nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 15, 2011 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am, with Pastor Gary Favor officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
