Darrell L. Hunter, age 78 of Huber Heights, passed away December 24, 2016. He was born April 8, 1938 in Washington Court House, OH to the late Ross and Frances Hunter. In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Hunter.
Darrell is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris Hunter; daughter, Valerie Hunter; and grandchildren: Hunter Ulmes and Leann Ulmes.
Darrell retired after 30 years of service as Chief Engineer at WKEF-TV Channel 22. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Club and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Darrell's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
